- 1 / 5By James MarzecVery disappointing. Prices are WAAAY too high. Paid $27 for a "seafood platter," consisting of 4 shrimp, 4 scallops, and a small piece of haddock. Tasted like something you get from the freezer section of a grocery store. Could purchase same at Louie's Restaurant or Red Lobster for a fraction of what Syl's charges. The New York Strip Steak was also disappointing. Average steak, nothing special. Except for the PRICE. Again, WAAAY to high! Zero seasoning in their twice-baked potatoes. Unbelievable. We will NEVER go to Syl's again, even if we get a birthday "coupon." Prices way too high, food mediocre and unseasoned, service OK. Never again!March 29, 2017
